The Aeroshell was debuted by the Katusha Professional Cycling Team at the 2010 Ronde van Vlaanderen.
The Aeroshell is a plastic cover, designed to fit perfectly over a particular model Lazer helmet. The Aeroshell snaps into place and protects the riders head from wind and rain while still allowing for some air movement under the front of the helmet and out the rear helmet vents. The Aeroshell is unique in that it is easily removed from the helmet when riding conditions are such that additional ventilation is desired.
Three cosmetics are currently available in the Aeroshell: Transparent, Ronde van Vlaanderen and Hell of the North. The Aeroshell is currently available to fit the Lazer Helium or the Genesis helmet models.
